Oh this brings back plenty of memories in Eng Lit class with my colorful highlighters and mechanical shaker pencil for scribbling in the novels.

Found a really interesting recipe this morning and decided to surprise Mr B with it for brunch - baked green eggs and ham crêpe!

Recipe available on http://foodformyfamily.com/recipes/dr-seuss-birthday-baked-green-eggs-and-ham-crepes.

The recipe for crêpes on the website is spot on to make perfect crêpes. I had extra batter left so I got Mr B to agree to have crêpes for lunch too. Watch this space for crêpes part 2.

You’ve been awesome.

So many opportunities, so many new friendships.

Many thanks for all these blessings!

After the gorgeous serving of bulgogi I ordered from room service at Marina Bay Sands, I decided to give it a go myself. Although mine’s nothing like the Sands’, (I suspect I’m missing some Korean spices?) it was still a delicious dinner on a Thursday night.
Bulgogi Marinade:
2 tbsp light soya sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tsp white cane sugar
1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
half inch ginger, grated (optional)
half tsp chilli powder
pepper to taste
Mix well together and add to about 300g of thinly sliced beef.

S fast asleep. T stumbled in after some drinks. (who’s counting?)

T: Honey, have you seen my chips?
S: What chips, honey?
T: Potato chips. I had them a moment ago.

Fridge cleaning: taking whatever you have in the fridge and throwing them together to make a meal. This is a baked pasta with whatever I could find - shell pasta, onions softened in butter then made into a bechamel sauce, then topped with beef in tomato sauce with herbs and the lot and finally with breadcrumbs and parmesan.
